COMPANY INFO
Aero Wheel and Brake
Service Corporation
, (FAA Certified Repair Station U8SR971J) was founded
in 1966, to provide wheel and brake services to one company, that being
the famous Lockheed Skunk works for servicing the SR71 Blackbird. The
second aircraft we supported was the equally famous U2 spy plane, which
we are still supporting today. During this "cold war" period, we could
not market ourselves as a provider to Lockheed for these aircraft, but
we now promote our business philosophy to corporate, regional airlines,
and military operators worldwide.
We not only provide basic wheel and brake minor/major services, but we
also can provide various programs to suit a customer's needs, including
single unit pricing and cost per landing programs. These programs
enable airlines to operate more efficiently with less administration and
overhead costs. We service all OEM wheels and brakes, including Carbon
stacks. We have received numerous quality and on time delivery awards
from OEMS and we are dedicated to the small single aircraft customer
too. Our turn times are some of best in the industry and with the
advantage of our sister company,
Desser Holdings, LLC,
being on site, we are able to provide your specified tire to mount to
your serviced wheel, saving transit time and cost in getting a mate tire
for your wheel assembly.
We offer FREE local pickup and delivery in the greater Los Angeles
area, including shops and vicinity airports such as LAX, SNA, LGB, VNY,
BUR, SMO, HHR, ONT, POC, RAO, CCB, CMA, WHP, EMT, TOA, FUL, AJO & CNO.
For out-of-area customers, our freight
rates are very low, as we consolidate with
Desser Holdings, LLC, for excellent freight prices. Along with our fast turn times, we
usually can get your product back to you, and your aircraft back into
the air before a local source shop can.
As part of Repair Station Services, we provide top quality aircraft
tire retreading & remanufacturing services
for general aviation,
corporate and regional/commuter turboprop and jet aircraft. From Cessna
150, BAE 125, to a Bombardier CRJ-900, we supply these tires to flights
schools, corporate operators and airlines alike. Our facility has (2)
state of the art Laser Shearography NDT testing machines, that are
utilized in conjunction with other NDT processes and methodologies to
insure all of our re-manufactured tires are inspected to the highest
quality standards available in the industry. We are approved for tire
speeds of 225 mph, and process over 25,000 aircraft retreads per year.
Our retreads are offered through our sister company, Desser Holdings, LLC, and can provide many options, including exchange and
outright purchases and for airline customers, our programs can be
tailored to your fleet and your logistics needs, including multiple ship
and pick up points, and cost savings programs such as Single Unit
Pricing and Cost Per Aircraft Landing contracts. We encourage and invite
our customers to schedule a visit to our facility, and audits are
always welcomed.
